I canna believe wer inti July!! Far the hell his the time wint!? 😱 ‘Iss month marks ‘plastic free month’ an’ I wint ti gie ye a rundoon o’ fit I’ve bin dein an’ fit I wint ti dee ti be mair environmentally friendly an’ eventually…100% plastic free! 🙌🏻

CARDS - these are printed on FSC approved material and are part o’ a carbon capture scheme, far my supplier’s paper merchant plunts trees in numbers thit equate ti card bocht. 🌳 The card is also uncoated which means they can be recycled. In gift shops, the cards are packed in compostable cello bags along wie a recycled kraft envelope. On Etsy an’ at fairs I sell the cards ‘naked’ 🤭 (wi’oot the cello bags).

PRINTS - fer larger trade orders, these are printed on the same material as my cards bit fer sma one offs, they’re printed on uncoated card thit can be recycled (although I hope they bide on a waa’ rither than getting chucked oot!) 🤣 They are packed in compostable cello bags wie a 100% recycled backing boord an’ if ye tick ‘mark as gift’ on Etsy they’ll be sint in a kraft paper bag finished aff wie a cute sticker! 🐝 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

GIFTS - across oor gift range my ethos his iywis bin ti keep the packaging minimal ti save on waste. Tote bags an’ tae tools are nicely folded wie twine an’ the mair fragile items are wrapped up in biodegradable bubble wrap.

POSTING PACKAGING - I hae a range o’ posting packaging bit the majority o’ it is made oot o’ recyclable items - hard backed envelopes, recyclable cardboard boxes etc. I also keep suitable boxes an’ packaging fae suppliers thit I can reuse, which again saves on waste. 😊
